In terms of gender values, colors of clothes or other *articles* are labeled based on sex, both in the passages and illustrations of textbooks. For example, (a) pink is labeled for girls’ clothes, studying desk and stationery, while blue is labeled for boys' clothes, studying desk, and stationery;
I would say: In terms of gender values, the color of one's clothing and other articles are labeled based on sex...
I was given a really nice table.
On my table I have all my stationery, books, journals, important papers, buget book and I need to know where I can get bins to accesorize and make my area look my proper and presentable for myself and when others come over. I have a small but very nice living space, my area is very disarrayed and disorganized. Any suggestions?
How can I make my prayer table/office look more up to date and saavy and nice so it does not look like a "messy desk" I do stratighten up but it always gets scattered again?
Try an Ikea...they always have cool storage bins that both look nice and are functional. Once you set up the draws, lable the fronts of them with a lable maker. It's important to make the lables look nice so it does not 'junk' in all up.
More importantly, get in the habit of placing things in them when you are done. It's real easy when you are done with something to just lay it on your desk. You may even tell yourself that you'll need it again soon so why put it away. Well, these things add up and you become cluttered again.
My desk has three drawers; but I put my stuff so randomly and it's really frustrating and time-consuming to find a certain thing from the mess.
So I would like to get my desk drawers very clean and organized.
Since my desk has three drawers (the third one being the biggest), I want to divide my stuff into 3 big categories.
Could you suggest me how to categorize my stuff and what to put in my first, second and third drawer respectively?
I've got a passport, IDs, bankbooks, a SSN card, receipts, business cards, all the stationery, cell phone charger, USB cable, flash memory, MP3 player charger, lotions, medicine, manuals, batteries, cards and letters from friends and etc in my desk drawers randomly.
If your third (biggest) drawer is a filing drawer, I suggest getting file folders for it. Sort all if your paper materials into different categories and file them away.
For your top drawer organization I suggest getting either a drawer organizer or a flatware container so that you can seperate pens/pencils/markers/paperclips/memory cards neatly. Shown here: http://www.google.com/products?q=Drawer+Organizer&show=dd
For the middle drawer you should keep your cords. Get twist ties or rubber bands to neatly "fold" the wires all together.
As for lotions etc, keep those on the top of your desk, otherwise they could leak all over the rest of your stuff. YucK!
Greetings!
What color stationery do you like?
And do you ever use sealing wax?
I used sealing wax at one time but the seal I used was part of a desk key that had a fleur-de-lys which made a pretty seal. I had to give away the desk and that was the end of my pretty seal.
I usually choose black ink pens for every day, but I do like blue for a change.
My favorite, however, is violet ink for lavender stationery, but only for special
occasions. At one time I had some magenta ink for light blue stationery.
And you? What do you like?
Peace & Love

I like most colours of stationery. I will not use lined paper however. I always use a black pen unless I'm writing special handmade Christmas cards and then I use gold or silver.
I've never used sealing wax.
Let's assume that the burnables consist of a desk, stationery, and a storage cabinet.
Thank you for the answers!
In fire tests of open-sided car parks in four countries, the recorded column temperatures varied from 240 to 360 degrees Celsius. The tests were conducted by Corus Construction, and the fires were fed with hydrocarbon fuel. That is in line with EmanC's evaluation.
I'm thinking of the maximum temperature in a typical open office with fires dieing down in about 20 minutes in a given space.
This office fire may have been the most severe on this planet:

Thanks to Steve B, too, for a detailed answer and links! At the VTT link it says:
"the pyrolysis of wood can proceed mainly on two pathways presented in Figure 2a. The tar forming pathway, taking place in a temperature of approximately 300 °C, is related to the 'normal' burning of wood"
Does that mean that the flame from burning wood reaches 300 degrees C?
Not nearly enough info to answer this.
You will need exact room dimensions, other furniture, composition of walls, floor, furniture, windows, etc. etc.
Even then you will need a detailed computer simulation.

The novel of what makes one living soul choose to invest their working time behind a desk colour-coding stationery, while another dices with liquidation on a daily bottom is not much of a mystery at all. We are by kind a cautious species. Most of us opt for a nice curry in front of the idiot box to dodging bullets and throwing ourselves out of planes.
Still, as we classify an ever higher hard to come by on safety, our magic with the risky intensifies. This, in part, was the momentum behind visual artist Stephen Skrynka’s new travail for the National Amphitheatre of Scotland, Enrage fail of Death, a collaboration with the Ken Fox Troupe, Britain’s last blood wall-of-expiration motorcycle troupe, who disburse their days scaling down at right angles to walls at headlong speeds.
“We live in such hazard-averse times, which makes something like the Partition off of Death appealing for its genuineness,” says Skrynka. “You have to assign the performers. When you regard someone on a trapeze, you bite that they may fall off, but with the Stockade drive crazy of Death you’re upset for yourself in case they approach over the top. That excitement is magical.”
Skrynka has spout time with the Foxes, culture their craft. The Go under of Death has its origins in the American peripatetic carnival of the first 20th century. The first show in Britain took cut down to size in Southend, Essex, in 1929 and it remained accessible in the decades that followed.
