how do the expenses of American politicians compare with those in Britain?

Over here Members of Parliament can claim huge benefits for travel expenses, second homes, staffing, stationery and so on, despite earning enormous salaries. Many have been found to claim for such items as televisions, furniture and so on.
I would like to know how the system works in America, and whether elected representatives there can also receive allowances and make claims against expenses, whether they get money for second homes they can then rent out, and so on. I would also like to know if this applies to those in high office such as the President.

This behavior is described often in the Scriptures of the New Testament. The reference is about "hucksters, whose idea of getting out the gospel is to make a good living from it."
Beware of them.
But read the Scriptures and profit spiritually by it.

ideas for creating a business at school?

i need ideas for an item we can sell at school for an american enterprise committee. so far, i have t-shirts, coffee mugs, book covers, stationery, etc. the purpose of this committee is to create your own business. are there any (creative) items that will be appealing to the whole student body, and is between $1-10?
something that is preferrable.... tangible...... like an actual item.
