works great
I've had this for awhile, and for the little use I use it for it seems to work great. It does not come with staples so make sure you buy some if you don't already own some.

Solid, functional stapler
This stapler looks professional, is heavy-duty enough to staple most things reliably, rarely jams, and will last a lifetime. The no-wobble design is a relief after using other flimsy staplers that tend to fall over when used on a desktop. This stapler handles all of my stapling needs, as I use mini or larger binder clips for anything too big for this beauty to handle. You can't go wrong with this stapler.

The only stapler you should consider
Simple solid, heavy, it works. Buy this and throw the little plastic junk staplers away.

One tough stapler
Built the way they used to build them. No Namby-Pamby soft springs or wiggly parts.
Ergonomic, streamlined and solid. A worthy utilitarian tool to grace my desktop.

Just what a stapler should be!
Sturdy, solid stapler. I've had no problems with this stapler getting staples jammed (which I did with my last one). Excellent choice.

Stanley Bostitch Desktop Stapler MOdel B2200BK
This stapler is extremely reliable and compact. It doesn't jam. It doesn't mangle the staples. I prefer it slightly to the 2500 model because it is more compact and a little heavier. It is vastly superior to swingline or staples brand staplers and although not carried by Office Depot or Staples, it is easy enough to obtain online through Amazon

Does the job!
Needed a stapler that could staple 10+ pages together, the first time. Works great and took standard staples!

It works!
This is not a luxury office item. This stapler is about as basic as you can get but it delivers what it promises. The overall feel of the stappler could be a bit sturdier but I haven't had any problems with pieces coming loose or anything like that. It made it to my four star rating because of the unbeatable price but fell short of the five stars because it doesn't offer anything special.

Great Stapler
This stapler is great. It works very well and staples many papers together. If you take the top of, it becomes stainless steel. Ya its a pretty awsome stapler.

Office stapler plate alternative?
Oct 24, 2007 by Richard P | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
On almost every home/office paper stapler I have ever used the default grooves in the impact plate force the two staple prongs toward each other and thus fasten the paper together. However the plate can be rotated, with its alternate grooves forcing the prongs away from each other and I am at a loss as to what this would be useful for?
Well I can't answer you because I was wondering the same thing. It's very odd, isn't it? Sorry, but let me know what it is for. Byee

The second position is useful for temporarily attaching paper together -- the staple is easier to pull when the legs splay outwards rather than in the more usual inward position.

How do i encase an office item (mug, stapler) in jello?
Jan 08, 2007 by cschmelzer83 | Posted in Cooking & Recipes
I saw jim do it on the office to dwight and i wanna get a coworker with a similar prank
how long will it be able to sit without melting? thats my main concern.
If you boil the jello extra long, it often turns very rubbery, doesn't melt. good luck

If I place a stapler in a bowl of jello like from the Office do u think it would ruin the stapler?
Dec 08, 2008 by christymitchell003 | Posted in Comedy
I want to play the prank on my coworker because of the Office but I don't want to ruin his stapler if I refridgerate his stapler in a bowl of jello
My boss just called me "sweet lips" - can i castrate him with the heavy duty office stapler?
