Incentive Package to Boost Exports
LOK SABHAThe Junction Government has announced export incentives on 12.1.2010 for over 2000 items (at 8 digit ITC HS Criterion criteria level) under Centre Product Wile (FPS), Market Linked Nave Product Method (MLFPS) and Vishesh Krishi and Gram Udyog Yojna (VKGUY) under the Extraneous Trade Action (FTP) 2009-14. Further, Japan and China have been included in the MLFPS. Some of the items / sectors incentivised under the Schemes is Annexed.
The incentives announced by the management in FTP have contributed significantly to check the decline in exports in the wake of worldwide slowdown. The current incentives are aimed to forward exports of the products/sectors including those that are still fa decline or slowdown in exports.
Export incentives announced in FTP 2009-14 on 12.1.2010 for exports w.e.f. 1-1-2010 onward
1. New Products under Woolly Product Design (FPS):
112 new products added under FPS at 8 digit ITC HS above-board, eligible for service perquisites in the form of Task Credit Scrip @ 2% of FOB value of exports to all markets.
Larger products / sectors catalogue Engineering, Electronics, Rubber, Chemicals, Plastics, Carton Boxes and Egg energy.
113 new products at 8 digit ITC HS even categorized as Idiosyncratic Focus Products under FPS and addicted higher extras @ 5% of FOB value of exports to all markets.
Worst sectors count hand tools, bicycles, parts of agriculture & horticulture machinery, sewing machines and parts, translucent
