Love this pencil !
Writes well, doesn't require frequent sharpening. Stuff it in a goody bag.
I've a few I keep at work, 'cos I doodle while I talk on the phone .. this one comes handy and has a great grip.

Too bulky for little hands
I had hoped to find a pencil built more like the triangle grippers. This pencil is bulky and the "edges" are too rounded to really force the proper grip and provide the ergo comfort for my 6-year-old's hand to keep it relaxed enough for a worksheet's worth of writing. They came unsharpened, so I had to sharpen one to test it on her. I'll see if Amazon will accept it as a return because I don't want to be stuck with 36 of these. My advice is to start with a smaller quantity before you leap.

Quality Item!
I was laughed at for using these pencils... as I'm a middle school principal!!! Now my assistant uses them and so does the other middle school principal! Easy on the hands! Very legible - dark, bold graphite! Fun to use and express ideas. Would recommend to others... even high school principals :-)!

Great Pencils!
It's nice to use these pencils with my Kindergarten kids. The triangular shape helps with the appropriate grip.

Need sharpeners
I have three of these that I lend my students who come to class unprepared. The novelty wears off quickly, and they can't walk away with them, but my problem is that I can't find a sharpender big enough for them, so I end up doing it with a knife. Any suggestions?

Not built well
It was cheap but the eraser started falling off the day I got it. I had to tape it back on but what the hell? It's a giant freakin' pencil! I keep it at my desk at work so I can ask people if they want to use my big pencil. :) It's worth the few bucks.

You can get this pencil cheaper on amazon better than ebay. I have a collection of pencils like this from cities and states.

Great
This pencil is great and definitely helps my son hold his pencil correctly. I too need to find a sharpener that it will fit in.

Great for preK-K!
These pencils are a great width for little hands. And the erasers are top notch! They don't leave that yucky residue of cheap erasers. And they come already presharpened! I just need to find a pencil sharpener that is wide enough to use on them.

Hobby Lobby or maybe Wal-Mart

Look for Ferby or Super Ferby pencils made by Lyra. They're advertised as children's pencils but they are actually high quality - huge triangular pencils with enormous leads.

Does anyone know where I can buy a big set of art equipment ( pencils, pens, marking pens etc ) ?
Oct 17, 2008 by dogguy | Posted in Drawing & Illustration
I'm starting an art class and would like to produce a compiled art folder of my finest art works. However, does anyone know a link to a product like the one which I've talked above for a decent price ? I would need pens of all shades, fine lined pens, charcoal & marking pens.
If someone could help me then I would be very grateful.
Many thanks,
Dogguy.
u could go on an online art store, or go to hobby lobby, the arts and crafts store

Sorry if that wasn't enough, but give it a try. She's really experienced at these kinds of things. Or you can go on Youtube and type in "Pursebuzz make-up". I guarantee that you will be able to find it. Best of luck.
