USB/Battery Portable Paper Shredder: Toy or Tool?
I collect USB devices, and know of the often less than optimal performance of them so I didn't mind spending money on what could have been a "hum machine", instead of a shredder.
My first impression of it, while unwrapping it, was that it wasn't a piece of trash, it had some heft and would likely survive travel (as if I did any) and use.
My second impression was poor. It couldn't, with USB power, shred an envelope that my Visa bill came in.
My third impression was better. It could reliable shred a piece of paper under USB power, albeit, slowly. The test subject was a reciept. It had no trouble turning it into strips of paper. Yes, it is a strip cut shredder, which makes me doubt it usefulness in real life. A pair of scissors or your hands could do the same job faster.
I then tested it with batteries on a normal piece of paper (fold it in half and it fits fine in the slot). It was more powerful under battery power and faster. I finished the paper with USB and that worked also. Maybe it was the plastic window on the initial test that was messing it up.
Now that I have said that it works, the question is, is it useful?
It is easy to use, has forward and reverse (I don't see how one could jam it) and is very portable.
As said before, it is slowish, and a strip cutter. It also requires you manually turn it on (and the design requires that you hold it, hopefully over some trash can)
As neat, and function as it is, its usefulness in real life is limited. You would have to have some sort of carrying device, like a briefcase or a laptop case to really carry it around. To justify carrying it around, you'd have to have paper you'd want to dispose while travelling.
All in all, it is a functional toy. If you want to really have paper shredding ability, get a more powerful one without strip cutting. If you want to destroy paper on the move, get a pair of scissors or just tear it up your self. If you want a cool USB paper shredder, perhaps to actually use, but mostly to show off and have fun, get this.

Works well but gets jammed too easily
The Ziszor paper shredder works well for my purposes but it does get jammed more than I would like. If you are looking to use this for more than the occasional shred I would look else where. But for something to have around the office when you need to shred a letter in a jiff, this would work great. The size is also a plus and could fit in any drawer.

hand-held shredder
Product came quickly. It is convenient and easy to store, don't try to put more than a few receipts or a couple 8 1/2 x 11 folded sheets in this shredder at once.

Not That great!
If you put more than one piece of paper in it gets stuck. If that piece of paper is not perfectly straight it hangs up and you have pull individual pieces out and until you get it all unstuck. Super-Sensational Small Shredder!
I was disappointed the local office supply stores do not stock a little shredder like this. Now I am not a heavy shredder person but amazingly have gone thru 3 fancy $60+ shredders in five years. Even after doing the maintenance oiling! Made my mind up, determined not to pay that much again. This little guy does the job very well--sits on the edge of my waste basket and allows space to throw other stuff in there too. For the average person I reccommend this one.

Okay for personal use
This shredder is perfectly adequate for regular daily use. You should not expect to be able to sit down with a year's worth of paper and get it all shredded in an hour. But if you take it slow and keep up with shredding on a weekly or monthly basis this is a fine little shredder.

hard worker
Not the greatest for crates of paper to shred, but it does the job. Gets hot really quick and then it turns off but will continue once it has cooled off. Definately "light duty" shredder.

difficult to use. need to insert material at a certain angle, won't shred lightweight material. Sorry I purchased it.
