I'm looking for an industrial paper shredder, any recommendations?
I need something that can shred large volumes of paper over a long period of time. It should also be able to shred credit cards, staples, and paper clips.
Why do you need to shred so many credit cards? :) Just kidding. I shred lots of paper on a regular basis, and usually use a Fellowes shredder. Their website has a lot of different models to choose from:

Just get a wood chipper. It would be quicker, more fun, and more useful.
I would recommend a vecoplan. It uses a grinder that tears the paper apart and offers much more security than any cross-cut shredder. It also allows you to shred almost anything. Don't forget to buy a cart dumper and a baler so you can get the most value for the recycled paper.

Could anyone supply me with informaton to find out if industrial use paper shredders around me could be aggravating hay fever and asthma. Every morning I have symptoms of congestion and wheezing, usually sneezing. Is this part of hay fever? Have been using shredder a lot, just noticed lots of dust escapes from it. Yes, an industrial shredder will produce a great deal of dust. That is why they are installed with a dust collection system. We also sprayed our paper with water to reduce the dust created.
Where can I find a paper shredding machine that will handle blueprint size paper?
I need a paper shredder that will handle paper up to 36" wide. I run a large format print shop where we make copies of building plans and blueprints. And many of my clients have asked me about recycling their old plans. I'd like to find an industrial grade shredder that can handle these large paper sizes, and destroy at least 20 -30 sheets at a time. Any ideas? Anyone?
