Nice cutter, lots of cutting options
I like most parts of this cutter. I like that it has a light. I also like the variety in cutting edges. The only problem is that it doesn't cut lines that are straight. I use it for scrapbooking and it annoys me that the lines are not straight. You also have to press hard when cutting thicker paper. Overall, it's a pretty good cutter if you don't mind that it doesn't cut very straight.

craft-lite cutter
I like it alright, but it needs to come with two straight-edge blades. It doesn't always give you the most perfectly straight cut but it's still worth it. I use mine often.

Everyone loves it
I took this to a craft market place to cut some things during my down-time while selling items. People were more interested in my lighted cutter than my items for sale. ;) It works very well. The light is great. It takes a little bit of practice to get your line exactly where you want it. I do wish that the measurements on the cutter itself were in grid form instead of ruler form. That's because I like to make sure that my cuts are on a perfect square.
I also only use the straight cutter, so I can't speak for the other blades. You will need to press hard if you have something thick to cut.

Does its job perfectly.
I used this product last night to cut 100 paper circles. I stacked 20 pages per round of cutting, and this device perfectly cut every circle, even through all of those pages. Having previously cut a few circles using scissors, and then trying an exacto knife, I can say that the Olfa Circle Cutter was both faster and produced uniformly perfect circles.
The product is well made, the cutter shard, the position locks sturdy, and the one-way-bezeled handle spins smooth.
By the way, the pin that anchors the center of the circle is sturdy, yet makes only the smallest hole in the material you are working with. Don't worry about it ruining your material.

Excellent cutting tool!
This is one of the best tools I have ever purchased. Everyone who works with fabric and has a need to cut circles should consider investing in this Olfa Circle Cutter. The cutter is very easy to use and there is little to no hand or wrist strain. It's design is simple and easy to hold steady. The circles can be cut very quickly with perfect accuracy every time! The fabric doesn't bunch, pull or get caught during the cutting which is important because fabric can be expensive - there is very little waste with this tool. Thank you Olfa for this amazing product!

For you crafters, what is the best circle cutter for paper crafts?

I like my Coluzzle system. You can purchase other templates too...oval, square, alphabets too.
Good luck.

i personally love the cutting system from creative memories. it comes with different size circles, ovals, stars, etc and three sizes of blades. the circle cutting system has three templates- you can cut outside or inside of the template, so one circle gets you six different sizes or 18 per pack. it's the one i use. making memories makes another one that is pretty good and can be purchased at joanns or michaels if you can't find a creative memories consultant. hope this helps.

I concur with the Creatives Memories answer. They are simple to use.

Does anyone have any advice on which paper trimmer or cutter I should buy for rubber stamping projects?
Nov 06, 2006 by Jessica | Posted in Hobbies & Crafts
My little sister is lookin' for a paper trimmer or cutter for when she does her craft projects and I am trying to find one for her as a Christmas present. I did buy her a Fiskar's Rotary Paper Trimmer but I have read a few reviews that they are hard to use. Does anyone have a trimmer that they would recommend? Thanks!
Fiskars has a paper trimmer that has grids on the base, a ruler to hold the paper in place and a small cutting blade that runs along a track. I use this all the time and am very pleased with it. It easily cuts 12x12 scrapbooking paper. I have never had a problem or been disappointed with any Fiskars product. They are very user friendly and the products are so conducive to creativity.

Does the Craft Lite Cutter work well?
Feb 25, 2008 by lisea | Posted in Other - Visual Arts
I mainly want to use it for cutting and folding. Do you know if the folding part can accept paper over 20lbs?
The Craft Lite Cutter is a great tool to use for cutting straight lines and curves. I don't think the Craft Lite Cutter can accept paper over 20 lbs for folding.
