mag towel holderThis holds a roll of paper towels very effectively. However, the magnets are weak and don't stay on the metal surface as desired. Anytime, you attempt to remove a paper towel, the holder falls off the refrigerator. Since that was my original purpose, this item does not fulfill my needs. Hence, my low rating.

yes the paper clip exerts the same amount of force on the magnet due to neutron's third law. The force exerted by the paper clip is not as obvious since it is not enough to make the magnet move.
a magnet and a paper clip both have different forces. the paper clip exerts a force to the strong magnet but it is weak that is why the magnet remains superior. thus, pulling the clip towards the magnet rather than the magnet to the clip.
2 forces, first magnetism is exerted by both, with the magnet having the stronger force due to its "strong" magnetic charge. 2nd gravity both exert a small amount. with the magnet, if larger in mass pulling stronger.

No, if we place a paperclip near a magnet, it will get struck to it, but if you want to make it magnet, you should rub it on a magnet, I think it will become a magnet as I had read it in a book.
