Just what I needed
I hate wallets and have my drivers license, credit cards in a small foldup case. What to do with green backs ? this clip keeps them together and it suits my sense of style as an accessory.

Who Needs a Wallet?
I carry my Driver's License, Amex, Discover, and a Frankiln just in case. I don't miss carrying my wallet one bit, or asking my girlfriend to carry it for me, which can be expensive sometimes. The clip cannot be improved -- it is perfect.

Classy and stylish
Many years ago, at an arts & crafts show, I purchased a handcrafted, silver money clip shaped like a paper clip. I loved and cherished it ... until it accidentally slipped from my pants pocket when out one evening (or was lifted by a pickpocket), how, I'll never know.
Then I discovered and ordered this item. When I opened it, I realized that I had found a worthy replacement -- actually more stylish than my lost one. Now I love and cherish this beautiful money clip, and I'm careful, oh-so-careful, not to lose it.
After posting this review, I will order one as a birthday present for my son, knowing he will love it, too.

Sterling Silver "Paper Clip" Money Clip
My son-in-law lost his "paper clip" money clip about 1 1/2 months ago & we couldn't find one in a jewelry store, so I logged on to Amazon and lo & behold I found one for him. It was delivered in 5 or 6 days in plenty of time for Christmas.

Toronto Maple Leafs money clip
I saw NHL money clips at a store called Blueline in Vancouver.
Not sure if they had a Maple Leafs one.

Men: Which money clip do you like better?

I'm getting my brother a money clip for his birthday but I can't decide which to get--I'm a female so I don't know if I'd have the same opinion as men would. So, men...which money clip do you prefer (engraved)?

What retailers sell sterling silver money clips ($20 and up). I know there are some on ebay, but I would prefer going to an actual store.
Is there a reason to buy nickel plated brass over sterling silver for aesthetic purposes?

I have a Morgan Silver Dollar money clip that was given to me on my college graduation and have always enjoyed using it until it broke. The actual Morgan Silver Dollar used in the clip was part of my friends deceased father collection, but when I inherited my own collection of coins from my grandmother I used her coin instead. The clip broke and I am now on the hunt for another one. They aren't so easily replaced, but I found two online sites with two different options. One option is 18 dollars and it is a nickel plated brass and the other option is for 38 and it is sterling silver. Now the old clip is stamped with a mark that reads STER and next to that is what looks like a circle with the letter F or P in it. Does this mean that the old clip was Sterling Silver? My real dilemma here is that I liked the clip so much that I thought I would buy two of them, one for the same Morgan Silver Dollar and a slightly larger one for a Silver Eagle. I have a super clean and very shinny Proof that I was thinking of putting into the larger clip if I decide to buy it. So if I go Sterling Silver then I am looking at 90 dollars or so for both of them. My real question, is besides the material differences, what's the differences between these two types of metals? I get Sterling Silver is a precious metal. If the clip I have now is sterling silver which the stamp STER probably indicates that it is, I can attest to the fact that they nick up and dull rather easily. Do the Nickel plated brass ones do this too? Is the nickel version of this clip simply a cheap option or would there actually be an aesthetic reason to buy this over the sterling versions. I'm thinking that nickel might not tarnish to easily and would stay shinny as well, then again what do I know. Advise please appreciated. Thanks
the nickel plated brass is a cheaper version but it takes more time to tarnish than sterling silver.since u have the other ones of silver i would suggest u to stick to silver coz there is no replacement for silver.

Is there a way to get scratches off of sterling silver and make it looked polished again?
May 11, 2006 by Lala | Posted in Other - Education
I have a Tiffany money clip that has scratches from use but I would like to hand it down to my college graduate nephew & would like it to look less "loved". Any suggestions?
I would take it into a jewelry store to be polished.
