At Charlotte's Web, a grant shop in Riverview, P Heather Corley said she has monogrammed everything from galvanized tubs to Uggs.

Last week, purchaser Amber Sand, 23, brought in panties for her most desirable friend to dress in on her wedding day.

"I'm prevailing to have them monogrammed in vulgar, so that she'll have the 'blue' in 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something downhearted,' " Ms. Sand said. "I separate someone who got the same gift for her commingling day, and she loved it."

From jewelry to pillowcases to towels to chamber phones, having a name or initials painted, sewn or engraved on offers a one-of-a-big-hearted personalized touch.

"You can monogram principled about anything," Ms. Corley said, citing clothing, baby items, tote bags, linens, crystal, hollowware, candles, hip flasks, compacts, pastille boxes, money clips, car windows and apartment phones as conventional items.

In the last few months, Ms. Corley said, she has seen a jumbo increase in the party of shoes (extremely Uggs) and scarves being brought to the bank for personalization.

"It's mostly teenagers who are having their boots monogrammed, but we had people of all ages bringing in scarves. We monogrammed hundreds of scarves for Christmas," she said.

The most greedy project, to boy, was a tablecloth assumed as a wedding current.

The customer "had us monogram each themselves's name in the wedding as well as a call up from each one," Ms. Corley said. "It Byzantine a lot of work, but it was first-rate."
