Great purchase
After a recommendation from numerous sources (my wife, brother, and doctor) I decided to let the old leather wallet go and get a money clip. There are thousands of different ones available, so it was difficult to decide which one to go with.
I found this Storus Money Clip to be one of the best of the bunch after looking for about a week. Like the previous review, I thought the color would be a bit darker and not as bright. It still looks good, but just not as dark as I anticipated.
The Good:
1. My back pain stopped within 2-3 days of having this in my front pocket instead of my old tri-fold wallet in my back pocket. It's been a huge pain-saver. I'd buy it again if only for this reason.
2. Holds your stuff without all the crap - Though there isn't a place to really stick receipts, it's a huge benefit to not have to carry around extra crap in your wallet (which you only clean out once every 3-6 months).
3. Fits pretty much anything you need - right now, I've got 6 Credit/Debit/Gift cards, my car insurance card, health insurance card, and movie rental card in it. Nothing's damaged, bent, broken, or even scratched. Card-holder design is great. I've also had $400 in 20's in the cash side and it's stayed secure. Hasn't bent, lost resistance or anything.
4. Personable - You can request engraving from the factory, or have it engraved for a few dollars locally.
5. It looks good and professional. This isn't some ghetto piece of junk - solid craftsmanship and feel to it.
The Not-so-Good:
1. This particular color wasn't what I was expecting, but I am appreciating what I got more and more.
2. Needs a good polish every now and then.
Overall, I'd give this 4.5 stars if I could. Would buy it again in a heartbeat, and will buy it as a gift.

Good but not great
By far this is one of the best money clips around.... just some details that i didn't like about and that were not specified.
1. I bought the gunmetal finish. It is that color but I assume (my mistake) it was polished instead of chromed... yes, this money clip in this finish is chromed... I mean the chrome looks somekind dark, but is shiny... I'd prefer something that is not shiny... an ANODIZED finish would be a lot better... as if it would be aluminium, or magnesium.
2. I have some concerns regarding the coating... it is good but it arrived with some minor scratches... may be the dark chrome will come out soon with the use and friction.
I wonder if the titanium finish is not shinny... the graphite one looks that has no shine at all, but is too dark...
Anyway it is good, cards fit securely and the clip looks nice... shinny but nice

Flimsy
Too flimsy and cheap looking. Holds money too tight that it tears. When you bend it to accomodate money then it won't bend back to tighten. Not worth it, my fiance' still prefers his Mexico vacation vendor special for $1,

Very Poor Quality
I have to say, when I saw the packaging I was expecting something much better than what I recieved...This is money clip is of very poor quality & not practical at all...I am sending it back, save your money & save yourself the trouble of having to return it.

Titanium Money Clip
This product came in a very nice box with a blue drawstring bag. The quality is very good and has a nice sleek style. The spring is very strong to hold the least amount of paper money.

My husband loves it!
Finally a money clip that holds cards and cash without allowing either to slip out. My husband termed this one a success.

What is the best drill bit for drilling through a metal money clip?
Feb 09, 2007 by SA41TX | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Any drill bit that is not specifically for wood or concrete will work just fine. Wood bits have a point sticking out, like a needle, to center the bit before drilling. Any regular bit will do. The more expensive, specialty bits are for drilling hundreds of holes without sharpening. For one hole, the cheapest one you can find will do just as good. The trick is to use oil (any oil- 30 weight, 3-in-1, peanut, vegetable, baby oil, etc.- I use spit when I just have a couple of holes and don't want to go get oil) and use a slow speed with medium pressure. It's not the metal that dulls the bit, per se, it's the heat. Oil reduces heat as does a slower speed.
I build steel-framed factories for a living, so I've drilled a few holes in metal in my day. All that 'titanium' this, and 'metal cutting' that is just a way of getting you to buy three sets of bit with the same characteristics. We just use cheap bits and throw them away after a couple of dozen holes. The more expensive ones don't last any longer.

diamond with a dremmel tool.. if you cant afford a diamond bit ask your dentist for them they use them once and throw them away they will be glad to accommodate you . the chuck for the bit maybe five bucks but you wont have any problems with a diamond bit

I need help identifying a HENDEE MANUFACTURING CO / INDIAN MOTORCYCLES MONEY CLIP?
Apr 16, 2008 by navigator_inc | Posted in Motorcycles
I recently received a few things from a will. One of them is an old metal money clip from my great uncle who raced Indian motorcycles in 1901. That is the same year when Hendee manufacturing bought Indian motorcycles. It appears in excellent condition. I believe it is tin, but could be wrong. I cant find anything about this on the internet. Someone told me there are only a few in existance. Does anyone know anything about this item?
Any orig Indian Promo Items are valuable But a money clip from that era would be kinda out of place Are you sure its not a watch fob?
Im not saying they didnt make money clips
Your a little off on the history Hendee Mfg 'Started" Indian Moto-Cycles They didnt buy it
But preserve it in a safe place and contact some Indian Archives sites send pictures if poss
For sure it aint a peice of junk
I may even make you an offer
