There I possession over my passport to the Immigration constable who then slots a vent one's spleen of paper in between my passport and throws it back to me without a brief conversation. It is a form that, yet again, wants all the details of my car and my goal. I fill in the form and supervision it back to the officer and this outdated I try to get buddy-buddy with him by asking dunce questions like how is the sickly in Zimbabwe. He warms up to me and we colloquy. He directs me to the next bar where I now have to pay some money before I can proceed with my make into Zimbabwe. At this next disc the officer asks for my car locomotive capacity. It is a 2 Litre mechanism and for that I have to part with 200 Rands. I ask him what the fee is for and what the machine capacity has to do with it. He explains that the money is a levy for carbon emissions and the bigger the machine capacity the more the levy. I grudgingly pay the compact levy even though my car doesn’t fart as much carbon as the Zimbabwe registered cars that I later find in Bulawayo.
