The letter opener is attractive and larger that I anticipated. It's sturdy, but the blade could be a tad sharper. I love it!

Looks good on the desk
You can't beat this for price or appearance. It is a nicely made letter opener. The blade is not sharp, but it is not as dull as a butter knife either. It has enough of an edge to cut open the letter, not just rip it. On top of that, it looks good on the desk.

Works ok
This item is ok if you are looking for a devorative piece for the office/home office which is functional. Only problem is it feels easily breakable due to the lack of a sharp edge on the blade. Just be careful opening and it should last for years.

Does its job well, while looking good.
This a great looking product. It cuts through paper fairly well.This item is a little dull. I guess it can not be to sharp. I love putting it on the table. It makes it look great, while starting a conversation.

I need to know where online can I find the same sword letter opener it looks like a dueling sword with a medallion on the handle I've had it for about 10 years someone gave it to me. I tried searching online for it by entering what it reads in yahoo search and it didn't bring up anything. if you have any information on it or know where it can be found online please reply to this message. I will be checking everyday to see if I got any replies. if you have any questions on it I will try to answer them as best I can. I have never seen another one like this one so I hope someone out there has one too and knows if it is worth anything or not. Thanks, vampriss 29. P.S.
