Not wide enough for folders
This Case-It binder is at least a half-inch narrower than the D-250 zipper binders (the 2-inch binders without the book holder in the front). As a result, standard 2-pocket student folders do not fit inside the binder. The binder accommodates three-hole punch paper, but it would be much more useful if standard size folders fit comfortably inside the zippered frame of the binder. The book holder on the outside of the binder is a good idea, and has a very nice slim design.

nice binder
I bought this Case-it W350 for my son, but in blue. I have no complaints on the durabily, in fact, this product was like new even through to the end of the school year. The strapped area in the front holds books, therefore he discontinued the use of his backpack and carried this with the shoulder strap.

Great Idea, but Not Durable in the Hands of 12-year-old Boy
This binder has actually resolved a lot of the problems my son was having with keeping his schoolwork together (I won't say organized, but that's the boy, not the binder). However, it's not very durable; within the first week the rings were mismatched, and my son doesn't even really use that part of the binder. One other improvement would be to make the binder slightly larger so that pocket folders, etc., would fit when added. A great idea that just needs some improvement to be truly successful.

Suitcase Binder
Great Suitcase Binder. Better than carrying a bookbag all day. Easier to travel with especially in packed places like the train or bus. pretty steady and strong. Overall a good Product. Deserves an A.

Large capacity but not durable
My son's school requires 3 inch 3-ring binders and they are hard to find - especially mid year. This is one of the few places you can get one during the school year. The zipper broke on his first one. This is adequate for the school needs, but the construction is poor. The seam ripped within 2 weeks of purchasing it. Now we are keeping it together with duct tape! This company really needs to improve the durability of these items. They should last for a minimum of one school year.

case-it d-145 large capacity zipper binder
i bought this for my son in middle school (7th grade). the first zipper tore up in 2nd period the first day he used it. the last zipper tore up 3 days later. all we have left is the velcro strap. i can't believe it was this bad. i can't believe i paid 17+ dollars and s&h charges for this disaster. the size and pockets were what he needed but the zipper problem needs such improvement. it was definitely not worth the money.

Great idea, poor execution
My middle school son LOVES this binder...only problem is that we are on our 3RD one this school year. He is pretty hard on things so I give it a little grace. The zipper has broken on the first 2 and the material has not lasted well either. Buying 2 this time in anticipation of needing another one before school is out!

Binder
Case It is the best! My son loves it. Great for all his school needs. We have been using Case It products for four years. A+!

Roomy but needs sturdier material
Pros: Roomy and spacious. Light. Perfect for holding some paper notes/files, a few stationery plus 1 or 2 light-weight magazines.
Cons: Material is flimsy and looks like it would tear anytime. Can't hold heavier books. Hardcovers are an absolute NO!
Verdict: If this large-capacity binder is designed to allow users to keep more things in it, then the manufacturer should consider using sturdier materials for its body construction. The design is good, but I don't think it will last long if you fill it (even with just papers) to the binder's full capacity.

Where can I buy a zipper or velcro closure binder online?
Sep 28, 2007 by MO | Posted in Fashion & Accessories
I am looking for one like the "Case-It" or "Mead Five Star" That is canvas like on the outside, and has a velcro strap for closure or a zipper. I am looking for something inexpensive, most that I have seen are around $12-$20 dollars, and I need to purchase several of them.
Where do I get a 5" thick 5 star binder a zipper one if possible (at store or order online)?
