A must-have for any student seeking great organization!I just purchased a couple more packs of these yet again for my summer classes, and I have to say, the quality is exactly as it's always been - phenomenal. I'm currently a college senior, and these pocket dividers are my top must-have item for every class I take, right behind my livescribe notebooks. They make organization incredibly easy and simple, I'm never scrambling to find my syllabus or my labs or any other charts or diagrams I need. It's always just right at my fingertips. Whether you're in high school or college or beyond, you will not be sorry purchasing these! I wish I had been able to find them in high school, they are INFINITELY better than the standard paper dividers with the color tabs. I love Avery products, they definitely represent a brand of quality when it comes to office supplies, but hands down these are one of my favorite. Thanks Amazon for supplying a great product! I will be back again for the fall semester!
Greatly admired by co-workers
I bought these for my work binder (I'm in customer service and have very strict standards on the info I give out to customers). I love that the plastic will not break around the holes. These last a LONG time, very well-made. I also like the pockets- assignments due in front, assignments finished in back. Only caveat on the divider are the small, dark label tabs. Even so, my co-workers stare enviously at my well-organized binder as they beg me to find information they can't locate themselves. This makes my life a lot easier and makes me look like a pro at my job, so I'm happy.
Slightly Disappointed
I have previously purchased Avery's Big Tab 8-tab dividers and thought that I'd purchase another set. I feel like the my older ones were made of a better quality. Also, these lacked the many holes for the different types of binders that the older ones had.

Best Kept Secret
I wish I knew about these years ago. This is the best way I've found to neatly organize magazines. Sure, it's not the cheapest (3 ring binders are getting expensive), but a lot nicer than those cardboard boxes. Amazon was the only place I found them. My local office supply dealers never heard of them. Great product!

Where do I find plastic binder pages to display award ribbons?
I am looking for a way to display my dog's award ribbons (which are 2" x 8.5") and thought that I could find some clear plastic 3-ring binder pages with sleeves that I could slide the ribbons into for display, but I can't find any with sleeves that will fit the 2"x8.5" size of the ribbons. There are binder pages for currency collections that will almost fit, but the sleeves in the pages are still too short. If anyone knows where to get binder pages that will fit the ribbons or has any other ideas on a way to display them (other than adhesive pages), I would really appreciate hearing from you! Thanks
Sheet protectors are close, but ideally these would have divisions inside to keep the individual ribbons separate so they don't slide around and obscure each other. One potential solution I have found is photo album pages for panoramic photos, which have long, narrow sleeves for the panoramic pics that are basically the same size as a ribbon.
Any other ideas are welcome, especially if you've created something like this yourself before.
What you are looking for are called Top Loading Clear Sheet Protectors. They often come in a package of 10, and will hold up to an 81/2 x 11" sheet of paper.
You can find these at Big Lots for .59, at WalMart for slightly more, Staples, Office Depot, etc... Sometimes, you can even find them at the Dollar Tree. (There are many on-line office suppliers too.) At stores like WalMart, you will normally find them in the stationary aisles.
Could you use the sheet protectors, and section them off with with double sided tape used in scrapbooking. (That way it should be acid free and if it did come into contact with the ribbons, it wouldn't damage them.
Additionally, if you or someone you know has a food sealer thing (the vacuum sealer thing), you can make individual protective sections and seal all edges to lock out any dirt, etc...

you could try and check with a local trophy shop. or you could even find out if there is a store in your area called "Hobby Lobby" they have all kinds of scrapbook materials to work with. I've even been lucky for odd findings at a store called "scrapbook groupies"....just depends on if you have those stores in your area or any other that has hobby items.

Maybe the pages that trading cards are kept in, try your local sports/trading card shop. Definitely look at a stationary store or camera shop at the photo album choices. There are many different sizes of photo album pockets, because photos come in different sizes.

Recycle Plastic Garden Waste into Crude Oil
I review today at Project Green Industry about as company called Agri-Plas Inc. who is converting unwanted agricultural plastics into indelicate oil and shipping it to a refinery for commercial processing. I am so proud to be part of an application that is not satisfied to rest our our already green laurels, and is instead working insoluble to make an ever bigger environmental difference in what we do.
