I'm applying for a mega-intense art program, and have to compile a portfolio. I have the pieces I want to include, but wanted some suggestions of how I should compile it. I wanted to do a classic binder/photo album presentation. One thing I wasn't sure of, was what to do with the pieces I need to photograph. Print them in standard photo size? A size or two larger? Keep standard photo size bit include multiple photos to show certain details and such?

Any advice would be welcome! As well as any other suggestions.

print photos in 8 x10 format. it is the best size to look at and prove you to a good steady picture. it is also a perfect size for a portfolio binder.

Chicken salad binder?

What is the binder that is used in chicken salad? It tastes like more than mayo or Miracle Whip, is there sour cream or something in it? I can't figure it out and I need to make it. Does anyone know the classic dressing mix that is typically used? Thanks!

Yes, you are correct, the binder is usually Mayonnaise, (either Helmans or Miracle Whip) but you could change it up and use 1/2 Mayonnaise and 1/2 Sour Cream, or cut the mayo by 1/4 and use some brown mustard (grey poupon or spicy brown) The "classic" is just mayonnaise (Helmans) and a bit of grey poupon, but you can always change it up to suit your tastes. My old backpack for school broke, so i need a new one.. So what good backpacks are their? i don't really want a jansport classic backpack because everyone seems to have one.. I want a casual (nothing fancy) backpack that could store about 1 2" binder, a textbook, and a 15" laptop.

Where could I find a purse similar to this one (that is not a fake), it doesn't have to be designer, just look classy(ie. no rhinesones, metal studs, plastic, etc.) I want the purse not to go out of fashion too quick. I also want the purse to be big enough to fit my school binder, but not huge. I also don't want to spend more than $100, at most $150.

Hey, I'm looking for an alternative to binders for my business. Anything a little more upscale from classic vinyl binders.
