Great Buy!
The product is a lot less expensive than what I have been purchasing from other vendors, however the quality is the same. That makes it a great buy!

Fun Fabric Project
If you love fabric and are looking for something fun and different to do with it, this is a book well worth getting. The instructions are clear and the options for covers is diverse. You can cover everything from a simple 3 ring binder (a lot better looking than your standard plastic) to a daytimer type binder. The embellishments are limited only by your imagination altho many suggestions are offered in the book. I had a couple of confusing moments but that might be because I do not have a sewing background. Once I played with what I thought the instruction meant, I was fine. Illustrations are very good.

Lives Up to It's Name
This is one of my all time favorite sewing books and it DOES live up to it's name. Fast, fun and EASY! I made two covers within the first week of getting the book.
The instructions are detailed, concise and easily understood, even by me and I'm a self-taught, novice.
Best things about this book are that the instructions allow you to cover ANY book you want from checkbooks, journals to cookbooks, paperbacks, EVERYTHING. I absolutely LOVE this book! Also, for other "hoarders" like me, who can't bear to get rid of the bigger scraps of fabric I have left from other projects, not to worry! You can easily incorporate those scraps into fabulous designs! If I sound like I'm gushing, I AM! I can see myself using this book for years and years to come without getting tired of it.
The book details the supplies needed to get started but I found I already had almost all of them including a mat and rotary cutter, glue gun, etc.
The only downside and it's not much of one is that the covers are finished using a satin stitch on the edges which can be a bit tedious but it looks SO GREAT when you're done. I even added some metal charms I had floating around in my button box.
The sky's the limit with this book and I found it really stimulated my creativity. This one's a keeper!

problems
There are two problems with this product. First, the binders don't come with enough pages. When you fill all the available CDs slots on the pages you are given, the binders aren't full-- they're narrower on the open side than they are at the binding, so they don't look like books, but like partially full folders. The company sells additional pages: eight pages for $9.99. Second, there's a metal frame on the binding meant to hold a piece of paer labelling the contents of the folder. It's poorly glued on, and pulls off when you try to put paper into it.

Fantastic Storage
These storage books are professional looking, sturdy and well designed.
The three-ring binder inside allows for removing or replacing pages. Replacement page packets can be purchased and at least two more pages can be fit in each binder if there are no booklets in it.
I've ordered a lot of these binders over the years from varying vendors. Some of these have shipped with a perforated page of extra labels some of them have not. Either way the paper label on the binding can be slid out from the top of the metal holder and replaced with any label. I've had one of the metal holders come unglued from one of the 30 books I currently have in my home. I just glued it back on. That one issue has not detracted from the quality of these binders.
As an added bonus these aren't floppy like soft-sided storage. They aren't huge and unwieldy like the 2x2 zippered storage solutions. These binders look amazing on a shelf. They fit on most shelves perfectly because they are compact. The depth is almost ideal for Ikea shelving or most big-box retail chain shelving units.
I can't say enough good things about these binders. The cost in comparison to the 100-disc storage folders usually puts off most financially conservative buyers. I'll say these things are worth it if you want an adult-looking storage solution for optical media. Next to Gallery Leather (brand) photo albums and leather-bound books these things look right at home.

Neat storage
I was looking for a way to store and somewhat disguise my CDs - I needed 6 of these books and they have done the job. Easy to sift through (you can put labels in the spine), holds a fair number of CDs and the removable pages are great if you want to add in more/rearrange your collection. Worth the price.

okay so i have once of those see through binders.
but i dont know what i want for a binder cover.
i dont want;
pics of friends and i
no drawing done by me.
so anything else?
If you have Microsoft Word you can go to the Help toolbar nd type in "binder cover." You can change the background to anything you would like! Like animal print, polka dots, stripes, or any other pics you would like.

I would probably end up with a nice pic of Adrian Peterson running a TD or something.
you should make it a nice photo though, sunset, or surfer or whatever interests you

What do we call the paper that fits in the front cover of an A4 ring binder? And the side/edge?
Jan 20, 2008 by Moi | Posted in Other - Education
Is there a website to download templates for A4 3 ring binder? For the front cover, spine, and back cover. The binder has like a plastic file on it on front to enter the papers/cardboard.
cover sheet and tab finders

I need ideas for the cover of my binder?
Oct 01, 2008 by omgshkristin | Posted in Other - Beauty & Style
I'm 13 && I a change in my binder cover.
I'm not looking for 'put pictures of your friends, ticket stubs, fave quotes, magazine clippings, ect.'
I just want something TOTALLY different[:
rainbow has issues...
anyway, you could have all your friends or just you [anything you want] write on an old CD [like a blank one] in different color sharpies. then split the CD in pieces and glue/tape them down where you want. in the background you can have the lyrics to a favorite song or anything that you want.
the neon tape one was a good idea, too.
anyway that just sort of came to me in a vision. lol.
hope you get the stand out binder you're looking for. =]

What are some good ideas for the cover of my binder for French class?
Sep 22, 2008 by lillysamuels | Posted in Drawing & Illustration
Ha Ha, okay I know it's an odd question, but I want to decorate the cover of my French binder. What are some ideas for covers? Thanks in advance, I'm not really thinking creatively today so I guess I'll resort to someone who is! Merci!
AGGHH i had this problem too, then I saw this cute little doodle and thought of a bunch of random crap.
I did a little doodle version of the eiffel tower
a girl with a beret with like, shopping bags i guess
hmm...like, french desserts, pastries and stuff
and then basically a bunch of random french words like...
mon chou!
god i love that word
sorry =P
hmm
and the french tend to think we're obsessed with fries, and we eat it with EVERYTHING. even like, chinese food?
so i drew a bunch of fries as a border
