EXCELLENT PRODUCT
This product was exactly as described. This item would have cost me 3 times as much if I ordered it at my bank.
Excellent product ! I was very impressed with the quality.

Works
Nothing crazy to report. Works well for checks. Appears well made based on a month or so of use. Not like it is bullet proof but works great for the price I paid.
Knowing what I know, I would buy it again.

Works well
I'm a small business owner (just me) and have to occasionally write paper checks for things. It's not often, but every once in awhile. I ordered one of these to keep my checks protected and store easily in a drawer. It works well for that purpose and seems to be quality made. I didn't order one while ordering my checks and couldn't find one of these at any of the local office stores so I was pleasantly surprised to find one on Amazon at an affordable price.
Anyhow, it's a check binder and it does what it's supposed to :)

Bond street wallet organizer
I thought this organizer would be just what I wanted as it has all the compartments I needed. When I got everything in it however, although the things fit, the snap that holds it together is not at all strong. This is a big wallet and it holds alot, so you would think the Bond Street people would realize that it needs a heavy duty snap. My last organizer which lasted until it looked horrible had a very heavy snap and it never failed.. I wish I knew the brand of that one.

Help with science "motion" binder check?
Oct 22, 2008 by Meowderchowder | Posted in Other - Science
I have a binder check tomorrow in science and I have a few questions that i dont know the answer to. Help?
1) What is the average velocity of a student trying to get somewhere 10 blocks away (assuming all blocks are equal length) and walks 3 blocks in 2 minutes?
2)The speed of light is 3x10^8 m/sec. How long does it take light to travel the 149x10^8 m/sec distance from the sun to the earth?
3) Suppose you have a lead cylinder with a mass of 454 grams. What would the volume be?
4)Suppose you had a gold nugget with a volume of 5.0 cm^3. What is its mass?
5) A sample of metal has a mass of 4,059 grams and a volume of 453 cm^3. What metal is it?
Thank you :)
1) The question doesn't make any sense. The average speed is given. 3 blocks in 2 minutes is how many blocks per minute? The 10 blocks part is irrelevant.
2) Your distance to the sun is all wrong. It should be 149 x 10^9. Proper scientific notation would be 1.49 x 10^11 m. Not m/sec. And if you round off, it should really be 1.5 because the actual amount is 1.496. Divide the distance by the speed.
3) Find out the specific gravity, (density), of lead in g/cm^3. Divide that into 454. You'll get cm^3.
4) Again, find the density of gold. Multiply it by 5 cm^3. You'll get grams.
5) Divide this mass by the volume and that will give you the density. Find it on your list.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I don't own one but I have seen them before. I just went to staples and seached for "checking binders" and they came right up. here is the link: http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StaplesSearch?keyword=checking+binders&storeId=10001&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&errorUrl=searchnoresults&searchSumUrl=searchresultssummary&searchUnsumUrl=searchresults&fromUrl=home
